Thanks to a dedicated organising committee, Lesmahagow Highland Games was restored to its former self after great difficulties in 2010.

The weather on the 19th June had not been good with rain threatening to make it unpleasant. However, it stopped for the procession but the sky remained dull and ominous. After the judging of the floats in Priory Avenue, the procession came down the hill to Turfholm, where it turned into the Industrial Estate to pause and regroup. This series of pictures shows the Chieftain's Parade in Turfholm before the pause.

The second phase of the procession through the main street, Abbeygreen, included other features, including previous Chieftains.
