Station Road, Lesmahagow (off Milton)
As the name suggests, this was formerly the road to the railway station. Nothing here remains of that time. All are modern bungalows on the north side. The south side is part of Lesmahagow High School. Prior to 2006, these houses looked over the playing fields of the old High School, across to Strathaven Road. Tall trees lined that side of the road. Two photos show the building of the school and the changing view.
