Milton, Lesmahagow
Milton is the continuation of Abbeygreen from School Road to the old A74 (now B7078). Station Road, Old Carlisle Road and Pathfoot Smithy lead off this section and the road goes under Milton Bridge. The name Milton probably derives from a watermill that was located here.
